Easter Opening: Saturday 7 April - Monday 9 April 2012, 10am – 4pm
After the success of our summer opening in January of this year Gulf Station will be throwing open it''s doors once again at Easter for you to explore and enjoy this enchanting place. Immerse yourself in the splendor of 23 hectares of pastoral farm land, whist discovering what the Yarra Valley was like 100 years ago.

You will meet Shadow, Dinah, Kelly and Gill, our family of working horses, and of course Wilbur the adorable Berkshire Pig.
The homestead has also been restored to tell the story of the Bell Family through the eyes of visitors, friends and family who visited them here until 1951.
You will be amazed by the incredible array of farming equipment that has been left behind, and can now be discovered in the many farm buildings at Gulf Station - find out exactly what it was like to work on a colonial pioneer farm!

As a part of the Yarra Velley Food & Wine Festival - Reap & Relish 2012, Gulf Station is offering you a rare opportunity to discover the secrets of apples, pruning, grafting and of course - cider! Taste rare apples from the National Trusts’ historic collection, learn how to prune and graft apple trees, plant your own rare French or English cider tree and finish with a guided tasting of world cider and cider styles from England, France, Germany and, of course, the Yarra Valley! National Motoring Heritage Day: 20 May 2012

In conjunction with the National Motoring Heritage Day, Gulf Station will be opening its doors for you to explore the grounds and discover how things were done before the motor car came along! Why not experience the glamour of the purring engines of classic vehicles at Yarra Glen Racecourse and take the FREE shuttle service to Gulf Station to learn about the bygone era of real horse-power?
The National Motoring Heritage Day will take place at Yarra Glen Racecourse with a FREE shuttle to Gulf Station!
When: Sunday 20 May
Time: 9am – 3pm
Cost: Gold Coin Donation to the local CFA at the Racecourse and normal admission prices at Gulf Station
