Maize Maze

Welcome to the largest Maize Maze in Australia.

Set in the beautiful Yarra valley, The Maize Maze is the affordable fun day out for all the family.

The Maize Maze at Gulf Station is a giant living crop field with 3.7km of paths cut in to the 5 acre maize field. The first Maze design field celebrates the pioneering history of Gulf Station - come down and see for yourself! You’ll have an “a-mazing” time finding your way through the maze, and depending on how lost you’ll get allow between 45-90 minutes to find your way out!

We want you to have a great time during your visit, so to help you navigate around the maze and have fun why not try and solve the Farm Scene Investigation. There are also maps available if you don’t want to get too lost to aid in your maze adventure!!

KIDDIE CORN MAZE – Made Just for Kids!
Not to be left out, we have a smaller maze especially for our younger visitors and their very own Farm Scene Tracks Investigation game to solve. Giddy up horsie - perfect for young families with children up to 5 or 6 years old! Allow 20-45 mins for this kiddie maze.

When you have finished trailing your way around the maize you can stop off in our Corner Store for refreshments, go for a walk around the Pioneering Farm buildings and trail and picnic around the farm.

Play FSI:Farm Scene Investigation.

Farmer Joe is missing. There was an accident, and it appears to be foul play. There are seven farm animal suspects that we need you to investigate. Collect the evidence to find the weapon and the location where the crime took place. You will find six location scenes within the corn maze. At each location you will find an animal and a tool to eliminate as a suspect and a weapon. Punch your card to keep track of your clues. Solve the mystery, put those guilty farm animal behind bars, and save Farmer Joe.

Farm Scene Tracks - Located in the smaller Maze

Farmer Joe’s apple pie has been stolen. He chased the animals into the corn maze and he needs you to go into the corn maze and find the tracks. Let us know who stole the pie, so that we can catch those pie stealing animals.
